Flashing Firmware Tutorial MultiProtocol Phoenix Service Software Version 2008 4.7.32837

Multi Protocol Phoenix Service Software Version 2008.4.7.32837

New and inexperienced users stay away because it may harm you more than doing good.

Tested Phoenix 2008

Please don’t use Windows Vista based PC. I used Windows XP Professional Edition Service Pack 3.

System Preparation

- Uninstall Nokia PC Suite, Nokia Software Updater and any other Nokia Stuff.
– Uninstall Nokia Drivers like connectivity, flash cable, modem driver etc.
– Reboot PC.
– Clean temporary files and registry using your favourite software, if you dont have one get one-

Reboot PC

How to install

1) Install msxml6_x86.msi
2) Install vcredist_x86.exe
3) Install Nokia_Connectivity_Cable_Driver.msi
4) Install Nokia_Flashing_Cable_Driver.msi
5) Install Nokia_Service_Tool_Drivers.msi
6) Install Phoenix_Service_Software.msi (Version 2008)
Apparently it should ask for dongle (depending upon the version you downloaded), if it does use old dongle *****. I had one, it didn’t ask while installation. Its MD5 529007e5fcca7094df2cac66ccd7a582
7) Fix Dongle by installing Phoenix_2006_2008_fixer.exe

Note
I installed Phoenix Service Software 2008 without installing Nokia Deigo first, that we used to do with version 2006/2007. It still worked.

    try the following
    - Please don’t use Windows Vista based PC
    - Those getting missing dll errors need not worry.
It seems that Nokia Deigo has to be installed first which I skipped but it works for GSM handsets, may not work for CDMA without diego.
    - Those getting insert dongle etc etc use patch named Phoenix_2006_2008_patch.exe

    try
    http://www.filefactory.com/file/a9a555/

The file is a Silent RAR SFX launching BAT file which automates installation process. All you have to do is about 10 mouseclicks.
Hope it will make life easier for you.

If you prefer doing everything manually run sfx and look for RARSFX temp foler (C:\Docs&Setts\User\Local\Temp) – there you’ll find all files.

Remember it may not install on systems with nokia software od dk2 drivers installed. If you have any problems with installation – reinstall your system.

Download this package extract using winrar and run files in the in order I mentioned.
Dongle crack (http://www.4shared.com/file/48537568/32affc6d/Dongle_crack.htmlwhile installing (is required).
After installing use this fix (http://www.4shared.com/file/48537567/a210e1fc/Phoenix_2006_2008_patch.html)
